Sildenafil Tablet and nitrates can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Before you start taking any nitrate drug, tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking. Sildenafil Tablet may cause dizziness and lightheadedness, while Nitrate drug may cause headache.

Before you start taking any nitrate drug, tell your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have sudden vision loss in two nights while taking Sildenafil Tablet while taking Nitroprusside.
Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to sildenafil, any other medications or any of the ingredients in sildenafil products. Ask your pharmacist for a list of the ingredients.
Do not take sildenafil if you are taking or have recently taken riociguat (Adempas) or nitrates such as isosorbide dinitrate (dilatrate-SR, Isordil, in BiDil), isosorbide mononitrate (Monoket) or nitroglycerin (Minitran, Nitro-Dur, NitroMist, Nitrostat, others). Nitrates come as tablets, sublingual (under the tongue) tablets, sprays, patches, pastes and ointments. Ask your doctor if you are not sure if any of your medications contain nitrates.
Do not take sildenafil if you are taking nitrates for chest pain (angina), including isosorbide dinitrate (Isordil, in BiDil), isosorbide mononitrate (Monoket), nitroglycerin (Minitran, Nitro-Dur, Is RO, NitroMist, Nitrostat, others). Nitrates that you can get such a way are prescribed by your doctor.
Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken riociguat (Adempas), including by reason of a stroke, a heart attack, an irregular heartbeat, or a heart failure, and if you are taking any other medications, plan to take any other medicines online ( such as online prescribing information).

Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects. Many other medications may also interact with sildenafil, so be sure to tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, even those that do not appear on this list.
